Discussion and action regarding a Resolution that the City of El Paso re-appoint Joyce Wilson as a regular appointee to the Central Appraisal District Board of Directors for a new term that commences on January 1, 2016.

She and her former CFO continue to be rewarded with government-related positions and board seats. Given the city’s current problems that were created during their regime, what did they do that made others want to continue to take care of them?

Meanwhile, Niland’s response to the mayor’s call for an outside investigation of the latest Romero/Gonzalez drama was:
“What happened and how it got this far is very suspicious and alarming. … We need to have this dialogue in public…”
This from the same person who had private meetings with Mountainstar while scheming to get the ballpark approved (and city hall and Insights demolished) and who told Wilson not to share the information from those meetings with other members of council.
