Starting October 8, 2018 they say that you can catch a ride.

Just in time for UTEP homecoming!

Oh, wait, homecoming is this weekend. The city is always a day late and several dollars short.

Maybe all of the Parking Tickets will help fund the “sure to be losses” from operating the streetcars.
    What a gimmick, eh ?

That schedule proves it is an entertainment not a transit vehicle. A $100MM Disney ride in El Paso, the tourist hotspot of the southwest.

Odd Friday and Saturday schedule. I’d think the street car could support rides to UTEP events and somehow support the Kern crowd. Still not sure who will ride it. Guess we will find out.

This has to be a mistake! I was told by Mr Trolley that the cars would run late at night, as if that would take car of the missing bus service in the evening…

Looking at the hours of operation, the streetcars are personal transportation for the district 1 rep who lives in Kern and works downtown. Do city employees and elected officials ride for free? Do they have free passes for Sun Metro?

Pre – revenue service means they will be testing the streetcars during regular hours, meaning they will not be accepting revenue meaning passengers. Revenue service should begin by the holidays.
