A good friend suggested the other day that in light of the fact that city council restricts public input and that city council members read this blog we should find a way to allow the readers to initiate discussions on the blog.
This would allow people to bring up topics without making comments that are off topic.
What day of the week should we do this?
We deserve better

During the time that people would post on the El Paso Times blog , complaining about the baseball stadium deal, several of those with REAL NAMES, (that could be found on facebook and/or the phone book with their home addresses), had their vehicles vandalized.
We KNOW that Foster has someone read those and THESE blogs.

Besides READING the paper and following facebook of many that were complaining about the baseball stadium, they TOLD us their cars were be vandalized AFTER posting about the baseball stadium.
I know who Foster hired to follow the blogs.
I cant tell you my source or YOU could find me.
And even YOU could be associated with Foster.

maybe readers should protest the cityβs efforts at censoring input instead of trying to βreach outβ to people who donβt want to hear what we have to say

Creating an alternative platform for voices to be heard is a form of protest and a way to combat censorship.

Brutus,
Friday or Monday, but considering that the first several comments didn’t even answer your simple question, it looks like maybe we’re getting the local government we deserve.

Is the deadline for CC to post the meeting agenda on end of day on Wed or Thurs?
Maybe 2 or 3 days after the deadline for the agenda to be posted, i.e Fri, Sat or Sun
