Rewriting history

Item 1.1 on the Tuesday, May 28, 2019 meeting of city council reads:

Approval of Minutes of the Regular City Council Meeting of May 14, 2019, the Agenda Review Meeting of May 13, 2019 and the corrected minutes for the Regular City Council Meeting of April 17, 2007.

They are amending the minutes of a city council meeting that was held over 12 years ago.

Of course they don’t bother to tell us what they want to change.

We deserve better

My guess would be that it is related to something robert francis “beto” o’rourke did or said. I would bet money on that.

If that were true, our Republican mayor would have objected and announced it to the world.

In El Taxo Margo is not a Republican. He is just go along, get along with either the OTHER Democrats or the idle rich, elite that run El Taxo. He is whatever “Dog will hunt with him”, whatever is best for Dee Margo or the rich elite that TAXPAYERS support..

You can blame El Paso’s tax and spend problems on Dems all you want, but the mayor and the big money pushing the big debt projects and asking for tax breaks are registered Republicans and GOP donors. You don’t even know who your real enemies are. Until taxpayers from both parties come together to oppose special interests, El Paso taxpayers are f****d.

I’m a registered Republican and voted against every goddam one of those vanity projects except the stadium (because it was rigged to build any way you voted).

Maybe they could “Amend” the meeting where John CRook, Niland, Noe, the rest of that bunch say that WE voted to build a MULTI-MILLION$$$$ baseball field for Mountain Star Sports? Maybe they could “Amend” the “Vote, Election”, to say that the local millionaires, billionaires would pay for their own damn ball field, a Sports BUSINESS that they are engaged in, but politicians have SCAMMED, forced taxpayers to pay for, including the MILLIONS$$$ in cost for mowing the grass and “Improvements”. Maybe all those politicians that HAVEN’T left town could also tell US how much THEY were PAID, campaign “Donations”, to vote “Yes” to scam US “Stupid, ignorant peons” into paying for this Sports BUSINESS??
