Guilty because we say so

Take a look at this press release from the city:

New efficiency

We don’t know if Dr. Morgan is guilty or not.  We do know that the city’s press release says “The officers arrived and through the investigation found that Morgan had assaulted his wife”.

Didn’t it use to take a jury trial to make that kind of statement?

Someone needs to teach these people what fair is.

Maybe they don’t want to be fair.

We deserve better

That isn’t how it works any longer. Just ask any Democrat in The House in D.C.

Or ask Trump, who continues to state publicly that Biden is corrupt while also asking foreign countries for assistance in proving it.

So then the Obama administration requesting and accepting assistance from British and Australian intelligence communities against trump is equally problematic to you?

If they did that, yes. I’m sick of both sides saying their wrongful, unethical actions are okay because of something the other side did. The partisan warfare and moral equivocation is going to lead to our ruin.

The difference is Trump requested, Biden extorted by his own admission. And not to investigate, but to STOP an investigation.

There is no difference between what both sides have done and are doing. Anyone who defends wrongdoing by either the GOP or the Dems does so at the nation’s peril. Both sides are all about money and power and they are playing their supporters like fiddles.

The person who wrote the press release chose words poorly and should have said something like, “officers found evidence to support a charge of…”. But regardless if Morgan is ever found guilty or innocent, or if the charges get dropped, the big news is that he was arrested for family violence – that alone used to be the kiss of death for a politician. But this is 2019, there is no such thing as reality, everything can be denied, and some people are paid and make a good living out of lying for others to make the public believe that an incident was actually other than what it appeared to be. Lawyers, public relations specialists, journalists, politicians, and the clergy all make a living by selling their versions of reality. They aren’t all wrong, but they can’t all be correct either. Think for yourself everyone!

Where do some of you anonymous folks get your news? From anonymous sources? When and why would the Obama Administration ever seek the assistance of British and Australian Intelligence regarding donnie? And, when did Joe Biden extort anything from anyone? Y’all can’t just throw out wild accusations like donnie does!

Yes, but his threat had nothing to do with any political opponent, or an upcoming election that involved him running for office! As if you did not know that already. There’s a yuge difference. Joe Biden was acting on behalf of the nation, and donnie only acts on his own behalf!

Are you serious? Where was the nations interest? Also put his actions in the context of the times it happened. No he was acting in the interest of his political party at best, at worst in his sons interest. This did not happen in isolation

Are YOU serious? Something is either right or wrong. Doing something wrong for the benefit of your party is no less wrong than doing something wrong to help your son. Neither of those is acting in the best interest of the nation. That kind of thinking is what is wrong with our society and our political system. Both Republicans and Democrats better start realizing that instead of rationalizing bad behavior to defend their own.

Sick of both teams, I think this is getting confused in the reply thread. I agree with you. I was trying to reply to John D. Who said what Biden did was different
