Hence, Tommy G’s comment that it was approved years ago. The voters approved a specific bond amount for Q of L, not whatever these folks want to spend. But, that gets conveniently ignored.

This is no surprise. They are planning to spend more than originally planned for the arena just like they did on the ballpark.

You need to look up the July 27,2018 El Paso Times issue on the money going into the El Paso Children’s Museum. I mean no only for the CO for the 2019 but also the $300,000 that the city is putting into the Museum after it opens for 5 years. Then it splits the cost of O&M with the city backed Museum. This is part of what the $100,000,000 CO they want to pass. Read and Heed.

It seems to me that they have to keep a certain number of construction and development projects going at all times so their donors can continue to pocket large non-bid profits.
