My understanding of the Council’s rules for the consent agenda are that members of the public are only allowed to ask questions about an item.
Why is it that if Council decides to put something on the consent agenda we are not allowed to tell them what we think about the item?
It seems to me that Council is saying “we have decided to do something, we might explain it to you but we do not want your thoughts on the matter”.
