The tide turns

The voters have spoken.  Loudly.

Now we should hope that the new city council will work to fairly and wisely administer the funds that will be spent .

Congratulations to the winners.  Thank you to those that lost.

lnstead of going bankrupt at 90 mph, now we’re only going bankrupt at 70 mph. Yeah, time to bust-out the Dom Perignon! And how about the fact that it turns out that we’re 3 million in the red? Yep, that’s our award-winning city mangler…err, l mean manager, along with the CFO and the other incompetent pencil-pushers in city hall. Do they still make pencils? Nevermind. And in the history of mankind, has there ever been another town that has displayed so much incompetentcy, stupidy, lunacy and financial wrecklessness over the construction of something as trivial as a dixie cup-sized stadium? l mean, this isn’t the prototype for the next generation of international space stations. lt’s just a building with an “indoor” lawn, a lot of seats, and a few bathrooms, for God sakes.
