In this day of electronic communications and with the city claiming that they want to be transparent, I have a suggestion.
The city could post a question and answer section on it’s web site. Citizens could ask a question and the city would provide an answer for all to see.

While you’re waiting for hell to freeze over, direct your question to @ElPasoTXGov on Twitter. That way, they can’t say the question never came up. The city has about 4,000 other followers, who might also see your question. They recently tweeted an increase in short-term parking rates at the airport.

Yeah, l’ve got a pair of questions: Is it a good or a bad thing that our city’s debt has at least almost tripled in the last dozen years? And why is it that when one of these political-types throws out the phrase “quality of life,” that it always means ‘you’ll be paying an arm and a leg for our cute little toys, but at least it’s slightly more entertaining than flushing your $ down the toilet.’
