Early voting

Early voting starts today.

For those of you that vote on the west side be aware that the Polly Harris Senior Center at 650 Wallenberg is the early voting place this time.

Please vote.

Let’s see if Brutus is right, do we deserve better?

    I went to vote this AM at the Polly Harris Senior Center, and I was hard pressed to find a parking place. After driving around the parking lot several times I finally got out of the parking lot and found a space out on a nearby road. Found out that they are having a concurrent Health Fair at the Center, so poor planning reigns supreme again here in El Paso. The poor elections ladies inside were having to hear everyone’s complaints about parking. I had to help an elderly couple who couldn’t find parking…..the poor lady in her walker had a long distance to theri car. It literally took the couple 15 minutes to get to their car! They could only walk about 5 – 7 feet at a time, and then had to stop. Poor things deserved better.

    Regency Center on Bartlett is also an early voting place and has plenty of parking. Why no one knows that is beyond me.
