Deliberate?

I wonder if the Times publishes what it does out of ignorance or incompetence or to deliberately try to influence public opinion.

Sunday’s article “Affordable Care Act: Marketplace in El Paso,US set to open Tuesday” contained this:

“Though there are exemptions, most people who don’t sign up will receive a penalty referred to as the individual shared responsibility payment.”

To be factual they could have written this:

Though there are exemptions, most people who don’t already have health insurance and who don’t sign up will receive a penalty…”

Or if space for fairness and accuracy is limited in the Times, they might have written this:

Though there are exemptions, most uninsured people who don’t sign up will receive a penalty…”

According to the Times we should hurry to sign up.

Obamacare-HealthCare insurance- is a tax…Healthcare insurance does not mean you will have a personal doctor nor will be healthier….just now means the Federal Government is in charge of your healthcare…What can go wrong?

Let’s not forget that this is the same El Paso Slimes that has that bloated idiot Muench on it’s payroll. I think that he’s the only buffoon that still believes that the ballpark is an economic winner. Nevermind the fact that even then – Mayor Cookie, along with Drama Queen Joyce, finally admitted the truth that the ballpark is an economic wash. Of course, Muench is the same imbecile that wrote 1.5 years ago that the Sun Bowl boxing match made money for EP beause he was stupid enough to compare tax money spent versus money going into businesses instead of tax $ spent versus $ going back into our local government (apples to oranges instead of apples to apples.) If you look close enough at a picture of him, he even looks like he has an extra chromosome. Was that hitting below the belt? Good!
