The spending for the route has already been approved but city council could rescind the approval.

I Think this route will be Mo’busy than the Mesa street run…but do not bother to dig up the road to build the underground cement block!

My guess is that spending will stop no matter because the fucking city is running out of money, thanks to CC, Wilson and Ms. Fuzzy Math.

Detroit …… Jefferson County, AL ….. Central Falls, Rhode Island …. Stockton, CA …. Orange County, CA ….. San Bernardino. They all filed for bankruptcy. Maybe Chicago and El Paso can flip to see who files first. At least Chicago admits that it has a problem. We’re still in denial. Ever increasing taxes might force some homeowners to file for personal bankruptcy before the city. But hey, no worries because baseball season has started.

No, people here will do nothing until they begin losing their homes, more likely from school taxes than city taxes. Then they will still do nothing and don’t think city hall doesn’t know that.

The city is committed to spending some $35 million on the Alameda route, all from El PAso funds, in order to get funding for Dyer and Montana of $35.7 and $43 million from TxDot and the federal government.
I cannot imagine what it will be like when they start digging up Montana. Let’s hope it is NOT while I-10 and Paisano are being dug up on the west side, but reason tells me otherwise.

My overall property value is DOWN slightly this year, due to poor and lower sales prices the past couple of years, which means, if this is happening across town, then the city will get LESS than they thought they would get, so the shortage and collection of funds will REALLY be apparent as the shortage shows up during the year.
I guess they didnt figure that property could go . . . . DOWN in value, as did most all cities the past 5-6 years,
And they didnt build that possibility into their ballpark spending habits.
So, all this Brio and other spending may have to come to a halt.
I suspect that the sales of Season Tickets to the ballpark will be lower this year, which means more empty seats.
The people that LIVE in LA certainly dont go to Disneyland several times a year any longer either. Even Magic Landing in El Paso did fine the FIRST YEAR, and once everyone had gone once or twice, well, . . . . its a parking lot now.
