Shattering trust

The elected EPISD board has been doing a good job restoring the community’s trust in the district.

They tell us that they are working to put together a $400 million bond proposal.  They will need the trust of the voters.

Close your eyes and imagine the worst thing that they could do before hand to destroy what trust they have built.

Stay tuned.

We deserve better

Vote to become a District of Innovation which would give more local control to the board and administration by exempting the district from the Texas Education Code i.e state control?????

The district would be able to implement online courses because they would be allowed to reduce the minimum days of physical attendance reducing demand for facilities so why would you need a $400 million dollar bond ?????????????

I see where Carmen A-C has been appointed deputy director of finance for EPISD. You know, the CFO who vetted the Mountainstar estimate and told us that the stadium would cost $48MM and would break even.

Paul and Woody must have big plans for EPISD’s real estate.

      What a racket.

      FYI

The other half of the Fuzzy Math Lady’s braintrust on the Mountainstar Math Magic Miracle was hired as Director of Finance by YISD a couple of months ago shortly after the bonds passed.
