Adding to the discussion about our crumbling roads, we heard last week about two separate people who had to buy new tires and wheels because they had not been able to avoid potholes.

Yes, yes, yes, El Paso certainly has a bad pothole problem, plus an equally bad problem with faded roadway stripping. The media loves to focus only on that big budget ticket item of rebuilding certain roads, but neglects the troubling pothole and faded stripping issue. Since it is now city budget development time, suggest you tell your city representative to make sure there is adequate money for pothole repair and road re stripping.
