EPISD helps the citizens

It was a pleasure to read about something that we think is good in the Times the other day.

The city and EPISD are entering into an agreement that will allow members of the public to use recreation facilities at 31 schools.

Quality of life will improve and we thank both groups of elected officials for this.

This was better

Don’t be so tight, we are the educating many of their students also with our open enrollment policy. An all girls school? That should get a bunch of the ones who don’t qualify for Loretto. 🙂

I’m grateful that my tax dollars will allow me to use the facilities that I paid for and feel I own. Why should I build a park next to my school playground! Thank you EPISD! A little late, but I’m glad it’s done.

    Sounds nice

At Polk Elementary, the PTA (backed by the principal who really didn’t want this) tried to get this stopped by saying the neighborhood is full of vandalizing armed predators who destruct property, leave their dog sh*t, drug paraphernalia, and used condoms tossed about the campus when it’s closed…image how worse it’d be when it’s open to them when they aren’t supervised…
