I’m not a fan of Cabrera but folks at that level sell houses for lots of reasons including moving up to bigger houses. Timing wise this is the best time to put one up for sale because corporate families tend to relo over the summer if they have kids.

According to Zillow it has been listed several times for sale in the last 18 months and removed so it may just be a case of looking to see what the market will pay.

That could also mean that . . . What he wants to sell it for is TOO HIGH and the Appraisal is too high (because most homes are over-valued in El Paso.) They are not based on what El Pasoan’s would pay, but rather, on what Out-Of-Towners from Larger Cities would pay.
The CITY ADMITS, that The El Paso Streetcar system should artificially inflate property values along the route so the City will have more operating income, due to the higher taxes !
Those artificially higher property values will bleed out . . into the El Paso High School District (which from Murchison Street -south) are very low value . . . and NOW increase in value, increasing their Property Taxes.
      What a scam !

Why would he want to leave. He has a basic contract worth 362K per and benefits of 191K plus automatic raises every year if teachers get a raise. He is just looking for a bigger home that matches his revenue.
