The word on the street is that the city has sent out letters to property owners near the proposed arena informing them that the city intends to take their properties through eminent domain.
We were told originally that the city would not use eminent domain.
Baloney!
They are doing this in spite of the fact that the arena project is tied up in the courts.
Shameful!
We deserve better

They absolutely believe in redistribution – from us to them. It’s called “trickle up” economics, a kind of reverse Robin Hood scheme. City Hall totally believes in it.

Near the arena?
Are these the properties in the “masterplan” and outside of the actual arena footprint ?
Or are they planning to use ED on the 1 homeowner in the arena footprint who has not agreed to sell?
