Their five questions are not the ones that I would focus on.

it should be illegal for what are essentially government employees to be able to petition for more money and power.
why do public unions exist? they literally defy every tenet of why a union is necessary. unless the primary assertion is that working is fundamentally unfair and that taxpayers are tyrants.
otherwise, i see no evidence of terrible working conditions requiring unions who lobby against taxpayer, child and parent interests. unions ONLY pursue union interests, to the exclusion of all others.

So, it’s okay for Juan Cabrera and Tommy Gonzalez and other “executives” to have contracts and to be represented by attorneys in their contract negotiations, but it is not okay for regular folks to be represented by a union? If the teachers and public employees don’t need protection, why the hell do people at the top need help. Truth be known, we’re even paying the attorneys’ fees.

Teachers give their own money to unions, not tax dollars. What they do with their money is their business. I agree that we shouldn’t be complaining because some teachers spend their own funds on representation. Also, ALL educators should be offended by the dishonesty in EPISD leadership. The more people we have investigating these crooks the better.

According to the flier, if I answer yes it is time for a change. Question #1: Do you like you child’s teacher? Yes. Then it is time for a change. I don’t understand the point they are making. If I like my child’s teacher I need to change them to another teacher? Huh????
