Our major news outlets seem to be more concerned with personalities than they are with issues.
We more frequently read or see stories that focus on what a particular individual did or did not do than we read or see stories about what actions or legislation a particular government is about to do or just did.
That’s a shame.
We deserve better
Brutus
What is reported is what sells. We can lament the present conditions or we can work for change. In a free market economy if the customers are not buying, the sellers are held responsible. My question is why do we “deserve better”? Most people in the world would say we have it better than we deserve.

I’m not a big fan of the popular news sites/stations. They are all VERY biased and it takes a lot of reading/listening before I think I have enough information to even start making my own judgement about what is happening. But I agree that it is all market driven – they put up what sells. They are not a forth brach of government or anything even halfway as noble as they proclaim to be, but they do know how to sell advertisements. They must compete for our attention; we are the consumers who choose where to visit.

We “deserve better” because the alternative would be Hillary Clinton for President.
lol
You thought I was going to say Robert Francis O’Rourke might be President. lol, that is never going to happen. Even an All Democrat election wouldn’t see him win. Besides, he is too busy dreaming of doing away with the 2nd Amendment all by himself.
