We deserve better

It will be less dangerous now that, for example, in Colorado people can consume marijuana to their heart’s content.

Across the nation calls to legalize mind-altering drugs and the increasing allowance of marijuana sales is a trend that will certainly benefit society as a whole and make us much safer than we are today.

Thank you, Democrats, for a safer and brighter America.

Marijuana now and in the future will never kill and ruin as many lives as alcohol. And besides the Republicans will need it in November. πŸ™‚

Wrong. Do your research. People in the drug treatment industry will tell you that most of their addicts started with Marijuana. It IS a gateway drug. If it becomes legalized, you will see the full impact of pot on our society and it will not be pretty.

Some people have to turn every single post into something political, huh? Well, Happy New Year, anyway.

John, there are only three things worth talking about: sex, religion and politics and this blog doesn’t deal with the first two.

      Happy New Year.

What’s wrong with what I posted? It is completely factual, and across the country many people will be driving while under the influence of marijuana.

All of the Democrat frontrunners for the Presidential primary advocate the across-the-board legalization of marijuana.

If that isn’t worth talking about I have no idea what is. You, on the other hand, choose to attack posters who post things you don’t like.

If you don’t like the idea of people getting high, legally, then don’t attack me, I didn’t legalize anything.

Maybe you hate to see things you believe in and/or advocate for posted in plain English. Otherwise, prove the post is nonfactual or misleading.

Good advice. Take your time on the road tonight. Don’t assume the folks around you are paying attention to traffic lights. If you go out and drink, get a safe ride home.

Elizabeth Warren, Democrat Senator running for President of the United States, has publicly clarified that her administration would change the entire economy to make it more “fair”.

This is great news for the New Year, because if we need anything, it is to have a single individual change the entire economy. Democrats are great, but when you add Socialism to the mix you get a Super Democrat.

Screw the old America. Everything you ever thought or believed was wrong. Everything that happened in this country before today was driven by hatred and racism. Everything that made America what it is today was bad and should be changed.

You just have to sing that song, eh? How about a New Year’s resolution to stop?

I’m going to smoke a joint in 2020. 74 years old, missed out on the 60s, never once in my life had marijuana or any verboten substance. A good martini is the strongest drug I’ve ever taken.

2020 is my back to the sixties decade.

My flu shot in November did the same. Can’t be worse. Before I die, I have to know why two generations were willing to risk jail for a joint. What the hell is in this stuff?

If by “song” you mean posting an actual headline from an actual Democrat Presidential candidate, then yes, still singing. Socialism is not good and anyone advocating for it probably has never lived in a real socialist society. Go to Venezuela for socialism-lite, Cuba if you think you are ready for the full-blown communist experience.

Otherwise, practice what you preach and give all your stuff away to others who have less than you. You could also eschew fossil fuels, go solar and start an organic cactus farm.

In the meantime, make sure to advocate for those who wish to take things away from people they don’t like, using government force, with the pretense of redistribution.

That’s not like Joseph Stalin or Adolph Hitler at all. Nobody should compare a platform of government classification of persons as undesirable and worthy of confiscatory action to any of the world’s past leaders who did similar things. Today that would be great.
