THINGS I’D LIKE TO SEE HAPPEN IN THE APOCALYPSE:
Chico’s Tacos defies restaurant ban and stays open. Says,“Our customers always get a little queasy. What’s the big deal?”
Opening day at a vacant SWU ballpark and Paul and Woody are sitting alone in their sky box playing a video game.
City defaults on the AAA stadium bonds due to no HOT and no attendance. IIF, the hedge fund that is acquiring El Paso Electric, scoops up the bonds and declares itself the new owner of the bankrupt stadium, to be renamed Manana Field, and announces that it will increase the rent charged to Mountainstar “substantially.”
IIF then offers to sell shares in Manana Field to the local public resulting in a sellout and real community ownership.
Treasury Secretary Mnuchin announces student loan forgiveness for Millennials and says, “They didn’t learn much and how would they repay, anyway?”
The Fed announces that, henceforth, people will be included in “quantitative easing.” Bernie Sanders withdraws from politics saying, “The COVID bailout gave me everything I dreamed of.”
Juarez cartels realize toilet paper is now more valuable than drugs and switch focus to smuggling rain forest TP into the US. DEA implodes.
EL PASO STREETCAR
“We will be offer free rides on our fixed routes, BRIO, and Lift sevices until further notice…”
“Service canceled until further notice…”
IF YOU BLINKED, YOU MISSED IT!
Thanks for the humor, makes everything better ❗️
Could the developers end up in bankruptcy also? That would really be funny
Drive down Mesa Hills from Mesa toward Great American and take a look. It’s patched together and is rougher than a country road. Development has a negative impact on the condition of streets that are not even that old, but the developers do not pay for the damage they are causing.
They don’t pay for anything.
The bill us instead.
