The increases in our water bills affect not only our monthly bills but our city tax bill as well:
The increase comes to over one million dollars a year.
The city is paying it’s own water outfit more. The taxpayers are paying for this.
In short it’s just another tax increase.

The city finally posted the presentation for their first quarter financial report.
One of the slides tells us a lot about how competition affects the market.
Things are not looking good for their land line business.

The city continues to disregard the rules relating to posting agenda items.
The Tuesday, February 6, 2018 council agenda has this item:
There is no backup material, contrary to the rules.

I drove by the egg beaters the other day and they were actually spinning.
On the way home they were motionless.
Does anyone know what is going on?
Are they trying to fix them?
I read somewhere that they can be frozen in case of high winds.
Is this an operational issue?
Maybe one of the people at the Times will look into this for us.
