Consequences of nonapproval [sic]
This (consequences of nonapproval) section of the board material then says:
The El Paso Independent School District will lack representation on the Central Appraisal District Board of Directors.
Quality of staff work
It is unfortunate that our various governing boards do not demand better performance from staff. Then again it appears that the board president signed the document. Is this the kind of attention he is paying to other district issues?

That is because to work for the district you have to be bilingual and they cannot speak neither English nor Spanish much less understand either language! They are products of the education system in this city. Sad but true.

As a taxing entity, the Board does have membership on the CAD board. Look at the CAD handbook: Appointment, Eligibility and Terms
Appointment: Taxing units—counties, cities/towns, school districts, and certain conservation and reclamation districts—select directors in the fall of odd-numbered years. Tex. Tax Code §6.03
