Answer from the city

The chief of staff for the mayor was kind enough to respond to my question.

She attached this presentation (specialelection237154) to the city council by the city attorney.  She also directed me to the video of the council meeting.

I appreciate her response but still do not see what allows the city to schedule the special election more than 120 days from the city representative’s announcement.

We deserve better

Yes, it was very nice that they were finally able to break away from their indecisiveness and bumbling long enough to give you an illusionary answer. There is no correct answer, which is why they flooded you with a video and an 87 page response. She hopes that this will keep you occupied/discouraged long enough so you won’t ask any more questions, you pesky little citizen, you. It’s too bad that l missed the lottery by only five numbers, otherwise l was going to build a bigger stadium next to the downtown stadium just to be a smart ass.

I think the July election date will require approval of the governor. It’s over 120 days.

As I read it (Her response if its corrrect), requires the Governor’s approval if it exceed 120 days as it does. Am I reading it wrong Brutus?
