They should have included telemarketer call centers. That bar would have been off the chart for El Paso.

Local government “crowds out” private sector here with its better wages and benefits, including pension. No one in the private sector has pensions anymore; they have 401K plans instead.

I knew things were not going well when all the economic development Gods, who talked about grandiose plans to attract well-paying jobs, all showed up at a recent press conference to take partial credit for the latest call center announcements.
