Outrageous failure

Some people have amazing skills.

The folks that are charging us half a million dollars a month to run our children’s hospital have found a way to make our county hospital look good!

It seems that the bankruptcy judge that is in charge of the case has taken the children’s hospital managers to task for making unproven claims that the county hospital is overcharging for services.

Even an inexperienced manager would have sought price quotes from vendors that could provide the services.  Those quotes would be used to prove a claim that the children’s hospital is being overcharged.

Instead we have learned that the children’s hospital’s claims are based upon the past experience of the temporary managers.

Should they be fired?

We deserve better

  1. That is a truly disgusting turn of events, isn’t it? What the hell kind of professional is so full of himself as to think he could get away with such a blatant display of ineptitude?

There must be severe contaminants in our water or the air we breathe. This community has lost its bearings. The problems are pervasive. Things are getting worse rather than better.

To quote you “It seems that the bankruptcy judge that is in charge of the case has taken the children’s hospital managers to task for making unproven claims that the county hospital is overcharging for services.”…so the claim by Children’s is not true?

Valenti moves ever closer to his longtime goal of assuming control of the Children’s Hospital. Anyone here think that a board of managers appointed by UMC will be independent? Have there been secret payments to the temporary managers at EPCH to appear so incompetent and greedy that UMC takeover is assured?

Yep we asked our CCC member are they for raising taxes for CH and UMC the answer we got was no. Also we pointed out that UMC has it’s own financial problems and no one is telling the public much less the local media and the answer was yes UMC had problems. No all the UMC/CH leadership and boards need to go and be replaced.
