Would it bother you to know that the city’s former chief financial officer is still on the board of directors of the El Paso Firemen & Policemen’s Pension Fund?
That’s what the fund’s website indicates.
With many of the facts about her financial failures now being exposed wouldn’t you think that the mayor would ask for her resignation?
Shouldn’t we think that we deserve to be shed of her?
We deserve better
Brutus
Of course she’s still involved locally. And, so is Joyce Wilson. Nothing seems to stop these people.

Where else could they go? The fiscal irresponsibility and idea that the more you spend the more sophisticated your city is that is prevalent in El Paso is hard to find elsewhere. Most city governments aren’t impressed with the idea that we knocked down City Hall to build a minor league ballpark and now are a billion dollars in debt for projects we can’t afford to maintain on our tax base.
