Could it be that the people behind the bond issue at EPISD really don’t think that the bonds will be approved tomorrow?
Are they planning to do a two step with a subsequent second attempt like the Ysleta district did?
Could failure of this bond issue become their excuse to make sweeping changes at the district?
Is it possible that they will work to eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse?
Am I getting carried away?

I do not know anyone who is voting for the bond issue. However, there are more uninformed people in this city than informed people. So you never know………

Maybe their real plan all along was to throw this big number out with the real idea being that when they come back with a second one for ONLY $500 million {interest would still make it nearly a billion}, the voters will think it’s a deal and the second one will pass with flying colors.
