Who will EPISD appoint to their soon to be formed bond oversight committee?
Will it be independent, competent, outspoken individuals who will look out for the taxpayers?
Or will it be the usual cast of characters that will be used to enable whatever actions the district wants to take?
Then again it might be a group of sheep that will be led by the nose by district staff and consultants.
We should know by tomorrow.
We deserve better

Can we find out if Jacobs contributed to the folks pushing for a “yes”vote during the bond election?

EPISD and friends used a PAC to promote the bond. I might be wrong, but I don’t think PACs are required to disclose the names of contributors.

Jacobs helped justify and push for the closings and construction projects that they are now benefitting from. That’s a slight conflict of interest.

Yes, PAC’s are required to disclose all contributors and those contributions, to any PAC or candidate, can be found on the Texas Ethics Commission webite.
