No harm, no foul?

According to the Times our district attorney is still looking into various city council actions that may have been violations of the law.  The Times wrote this:

District Attorney Jaime Esparza asked for assistance from the Texas Rangers to look into the findings of that investigation, which is still underway. Esparza said he hopes to have that investigation, as well as another involving city officials, resolved early next year.

From the sound of his statement it seems to us that he has decided not to pursue charges.  If he concludes otherwise the issues will not be resolved until a trial occurs.

Have we misread this?

We deserve better

The Texas Rangers will pursue this, make a case or make a decision, there is no case. Esparza on the other hand couldn’t , wouldn’t find any OFFICIAL, PUBLIC corruption if this bunch of politicians went in and CONFESSED. HE has never discovered, prosecuted any of the Public Corruption cases in El Paso. EPISD, Judges, nothing. All cases investigated, prosecuted by the FBI. The LOCAL “Authorities” same as Esparza . Don’t see nuthin, don’t hear nuthin, don’t know nuthin, don’t do nuthin.
