Early voting for the city runoff election ends December 11, 2018.

The election is Saturday, December 15, 2018.

I held my nose and voted in the D8 runoff but I understand the low turnout. In D8 we have a choice between a candidate who will rubber stamp every donor desired project that comes up and a kid who thinks we should legalize pot, help illegals hide in plain sight with city ids and spend money trying to compete with India and Somalia doing e-recycling here. In short, two really bad choices, because the candidate who might have made a change was 15 votes short. Or at least that is what City officials told us.

I think D8 runs down from the west side to central, to chamizal, to alameda almost to ascarate. That’s not only west side, but the polling sites don’t appear to reflect that. Could that be by design?
