It looks like someone over at EPISD is proposing that the winter stipend not be paid next year:
My recollection is that the district offered the teachers a one-time stipend as part of the penny swap election.
We would appreciate hearing from someone who knows what the situation is here.

Maybe they are running a focus group to determine what results to present to make their DNC chosen candidate look best. Sorry, anonymous, EPSID moving on from the winter stipend now that they have their bond issue is not a compelling enough topic to stay on. It is their nature to incentivize screwing the taxpayers and then follow up by screwing the folks whose votes made their continued fiscal irresponsibility possible. It is the classic “rescue the rattlesnake from the river” cautionary tale. And to be fair, EPSID’s problems are the making of politicians from both parties.

No more talking or tapping on keys for soon will be the time to vote. Want to get rid of that politician you can’t tolerate, go vote. Jerry K and Ticked off are some of the few republicans in town. Mostly we are Democrats in this town. Remember the power of prayer but mostly vote so we can rid our town of these corrupt weasels.

Forget the party. Vote for folks that aren’t bragging about being “Community Scholar Program” graduates, haven’t been climbing up the progressive pol ladder and who aren’t showing large donations from Foster, Hunt and the construction crowd.

My wife got 750 in 2018 and 750 again in 2019. A stipend of 500 is supposedly going to be paid in 15th of mar h check
Common knowlwdge says the stipend was for 5 years if they could pass the penny swap tax magic trick where debt disappears
