What the Times finds to be remarkable

This was the headline of an article in the Times the other day:

Jury finds El Paso man guilty of 2005 McAllen murder; he faces prison time

Have we really sunk that low?

We deserve better

  1. If it were not for cutting, pasting, reprinting articles, stories from other sources, there would nothing printed in the Times. Check the by-lines. USA Today, Washington Post, New York Times, other anti-Trump, Republican Newspapers. Since the Editorials are never credited, would guess they are printed from some extremist, once a week hand out from California, Washington State . I get the Times only on weekends. It is mostly a thumb-through. With stories days old or recent events in Juarez or some where in Mexico. “Tio Jose and Tia Suzie from Ojinaga, visited her sister in El Paso this past weekend”. A Police Officer any where with a Times perceived “Wrong”, gets a FULL page “Story”. The corruption, secret meetings, “Closed” door sessions of, tax, waste, spend, tax some more of El Paso politicians, Public Officials, gets little notice, if any. There is never such a story, Editorial , Investigative Reporter story, about what THEY do to US.

I quit buying the El Paso Slimes when the price doubled, but the articles/stories did not get any better. Same news is available on the Internet for free. I ain’t got any canaries, so I have no use for the Times.
