Its over

We recently endured a contentious process that culminated in the confirmation of a new supreme court justice.

Will we see as a result a more energized electorate in the November election?

Will the tactics used by each side backfire and cause their opponents to galvanize?

I can point to one thing for certain–every vote counts.

We deserve better

what tactics were used by each side? i saw democrats throwing uncorroborrated accusations and resorting to mob tactics. republicans refused the democrats tantrums and looked for evidence of the accuser’s claims.

Well said, duh. I was on the fence in some races. Not anymore. The Dem party has totally lost its mind.

The GOP has lost its decency, its principles, its respect for the constitution, and its ability to think for itself. It is sad to see principled people turn to bootlicking at the feet of wannabe-strongmen.

With any luck the GOP will survive Trumpism and return to conservatism.

I would be more interested in your own principled opinions rather than parroted talking points from fox.

Frater, you likely should take some of your own advice. Your post includes common CNN talking points.

I don’t have cable and I don’t watch CNN. Last time I saw CNN was in an airport about 7 years ago.

It’s curious that you know what Fox parrots.

Sounds like you enjoy partisan cheap shots more than thoughtful discussion. Reminds me of a long lost canine who “used to” visit this site.

Fox content is broadcast OTA on local affiliates. I am forced to listen to it at work.

Partisanship/tribalism is counterproductive, as the founding fathers warned. If the D and R headquarters burned to the ground the nation would be better for it.

I don’t know the canine you refer to. I am a recent arrival to this great city

How quickly things devolve. The toxic, partisan bickering in the comments here so far today is a microcosm of what’s wrong with our nation. Both parties care guilty of bad behavior and both are unwilling to acknowledge that and take responsibility. People on both sides are following people who are in it more for what they can take than for what they can give.

A pox on both parties and their rabid followers. People need to think for themselves and behave civilly if they want to preserve the democracy.

If you have thoughts on the post’s topic I’m willing to listen.

Leftist temper tantrums – ANTIFA shutting down free speech on campuses and disrupting traffic in Portland; the street mob at the Kavanaugh hearings; Hillary saying we need to change the Constitution because it doesn’t elect enough Dems – keep it up and see how many seats you get.

BTW, if you have’t figured it out yet, Trump is playing the Left like a fiddle because he knows how easily you Snowflakes trigger. Every time voters see leftist mobs beating old white people, demanding open borders and prosecuting ICE for doing its job, more of them keep their mouths shut out of fear and vow to vote GOP next month.

Vote, voter FRAUD, instigating, encouraging violence, terrorism. With what Libs, Democrat politicians are doing NOW, it will only get worse. Watch yourself, be careful when voting. Don’t be a victim, in YOUR RIGHT to vote.
