EPISD–public comment at board meetings

The slide below indicates policy changes that the EPISD board will probably approve:

Wow!

Texas House bill 2840 requires the changes.  It is good to see the board doing what they are supposed to do.

    Looks like that is a 4 year old policy. Are they just now getting around to implementing this?

    How bad was it if this is better?

    So it seems like you don’t understand how revisions to policies work. You have to revise off of the original policy (approved 4 years ago)and you strike through what is being omitted. The policy revision is part of a law that was just passed in the last legislative session.
